Aloe Vera For Psoriasis

Aloe Vera May Help Alleviate Psoriasis

Most psoriasis sufferers have tried everything they possibly can in order to help their psoriasis and treatment. But have you ever tried aloe vera for psoriasis? Aloe vera can help control psoriasis symptoms.

The use of aloe vera for psoriasis is a type of psoriasis topical treatment much like coal tar. This treatment requires daily use of aloe, whether it is in the form of gel or juice. The treatment suggests drinking a high volume of aloe juice, mixed with megavitamins and antioxidants. With the consumption of aloe juice, you must have a strict natural diet. That excludes processed meals, junk foods, sugar, fatty meats, and any other food with high cholesterol levels. On this diet you must eat lots of fruits and vegetables, which help the skin to heal faster. Start with small amounts of aloe juice at first, 1 tablespoon a day. Eventually, you should increase the amount of aloe juice to 3 or 4 tablespoons, 3 or 4 times a day (4oz). Aloe helps clean the body and the digestive system so that it can absorb more proteins.

After you shower, spray the affected areas with aloe liquid or apply aloe gel. Apply at least 3 to 4 times a day. Aloe is a cell rejuvenator and it increases the rate at which the body is able to produce healthy skin cells. Drinking aloe will push the healthy skin outward.

Externally, you may not see results right away from using aloe vera for psoriasis. It may look worse before it looks better. However, after a 2-3 weeks you may notice that the skin is not breaking as much. It is important to keep drinking and applying aloe vera for psoriasis. As always, see your doctor before beginning and ask for their advice. The best way to see results is keeping up with the suggested diet and using products that do not hinder your psoriasis and treatment.
