Day 7 – The Motivation I Needed

Weigh-In was today. Drum roll please……. 214.8. That is 14.6 pounds!! Capture - weightWow, I really needed that motivation boost. I know most of it was probably water, and other “stuff”, but I’m assuming at least 4.6 of it was fat. I know the weight loss will slow down, but I can fit in my skinny jeans again, and that makes me very happy today.

snapchat-1083670389Yesterday and today I went for long walks. Yesterday, I took the dog on a 40 minute walk, and today I went on a very cardio intensive hike with my friend Christine. The big hills on the hike have me worried about The Color Run on Saturday.

My scalp is still a helmet of flaky skin, and I leave little snow storms where ever I go. Ewww. The stuff under my boobs is stagnant but not worsening. The topicals are working on it slowly. My back has not been bothering me lately, but when I wake up in the morning my left foot/leg is stiff with psoriatic arthritis. I make lots of cracking noises when I use the stairs in the morning. Lovely. 34 years young my ass.

I have been dealing with a bit of crankiness the last couple days. Makes me think I’m still detoxing off something, but I’m just not sure.

I changed up my juicing a bit. I started pureeing some banana and blueberries along withe the spinach and kale. It makes it more smoothie like, plus you can’t juice a banana or blueberry with a centrifugal juicer. I cut out an apple from my normal green juice since I added the blueberries and banana.

One more week till almonds and coffee!
